  • Southern Lumber and Millwork at 2031 King Street Extension is open 7am-5pm Monday-Friday.
  • Southern Lumber at 4311 Dorchester Road is open 6am-4pm Monday-Friday.
  • Southern Lumber at 4220 Meeting Street is open 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
  • Our original location at 2031 King Street Extension is our retail location, which houses all of our stock mouldings, framing, hardware.
  • Our 4311 Dorchester location is our window and door distribution center, which also houses our marine treated lumber and engineered wood products.
  • Our Fellowship location is our custom door shop manufacturing facility.
  • Our 4220 Meeting Street location, is temporarily distributing our Boral and James Hardie fiber cement products while we complete construction at our King Street yard.

Visit our Design Center, 2031 King Street Extension, and our sales team would be happy to assist you with your purchase. No appointment is required.  For the best experience, we encourage partnering with a trusted contractor or builder to assist you to ensure everything is measured, installed, and completed correctly.

During construction, customers will continue to place your order with our sales team at 2031 King Street Extension, and then pick up the material at our 4220 Meeting Street Location. 

Yes, we stock a wide variety of hardwoods.  Give us a call to discuss the needs of your project.

 If you are trying to replicate mouldings, you can bring in a sample that is at least 6” long.  We would need a full baluster or shutter to replicate it.  We have the technology and talent to replicate your piece!

With countless manufacturers, we are able to order composite decking from your favorite brands, including TimberTech by AZEK, and Trex.

Yes, our marine treated lumber, pilings, and dock accessories are located at our warehouse at 4311 Dorchester Road.  Please give our salesmen, Tim Kopp, a call 843-744-6281 ext. 204.

We are open to the general public, but our processes and services are designed with contractors and builders in mind.  Partnering with a contractor often provides the most seamless experience. 

Yes, customers are allowed to select the materials before purchasing.  

Yes, our sales team would be happy to provide you with a sales quote upon request.  As prices can fluctuate, please contact us for the most up-to-date information. 

Yes, our credit account holders are able to create an online account to place Will Call or Delivery orders of stock materials. 

Shipping

Yes, we typically deliver within the tri-county Charleston, SC area.  However, we do cover the state of South Carolina for special circumstances.  Please contact your sales rep for special accommodations.

Typical turnaround time on local deliveries is 24 hours.  Orders must be entered before 3pm to be delivered the following business day.  We do not deliver on weekends.  

Receiving

We accept deliveries at our King Street & Dorchester Rd. locations from 6am-4pm, Monday-Friday. 

All deliveries to the King Street location must use the back entrance, down Discher Road, and Summerville Avenue.

Accounts Receivables

Yes, we have a customer portal to view invoices and statements.  Payment options will be added soon.
